Sandwiches are only as good as their foundation, bread. With that in mind, we will be making all of our Panini's and Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Heartstone Artisan Bakery's Finest Breads. Our sister restaurant, Nola's, has been serving Heartstone's sourdough for years, and our customer's can't enough. If you've ever visited the restaurant, you'll remember devouring the toasted bread and salted butter that arrived at your table, which means that you should definitely track down Heartstone Bakery at one of the local farmer's markets, or take the scenic ride out to Cazenovia where you can enjoy all of the freshly baked smells in their new storefront.
At Heartstone Artisan Bakery, Owners, Amy Yahna and Brian Musician, make up to 1200 breads and pastries weekly, using mostly locally-sourced organic, whole grain, and stone milled flours via a long, cool fermentation process. Fresh vegetables and herbs from their farm in Earlville NY, Alambria Springs, are often incorporated into their delicious baked goods, which can be found at farmer's markets throughout the area, as well as their new storefront at 11 Lincklaen Street, Cazenovia.
In addition to making some of the most delicious bread in the area, the team at Hearthstone Artisan Bakery are committed to sustainability, and are extremely conscious of and grateful for their place within the culinary community.
